The 4 Sided Closed Back with Slit keeps the fully boxed, tailored appearance of our closed back, but adds a single center opening along the rear panel. It’s a simple, no-hardware way to reach underneath without giving up the finished look – just part the fabric at the slit and reach through.
This is a good default for buyers who want the closed-back appearance but know one person will need to duck behind the table occasionally during the event.

Compared to the Velcro and Zipper backs, the Slit is a simpler mechanism with nothing to fasten or unfasten – faster in and out, but it doesn’t close as neatly when not in use.

How wide is the slit opening?
It's sized for one person to comfortably reach through – wide enough for typical event storage access, not for pulling large items in or out.
Does the slit stay closed when not in use?
It rests closed under normal conditions since there's no tension pulling it open, though it doesn't seal shut the way a zipper or Velcro closure does.
Is this a good option for a longer table like an 8FT?
It works, but on longer tables a single center slit means more walking if access is needed from either end – the multi-slit option is worth considering for longer setups with multiple access points needed.
